PIKE ARMS® STAINLESS STEEL CNC MACHINED RECOIL GUIDE ROD ** R- CLIPPED ** FOR RUGER® 10/22®

The Pike Arms® STAINLESS STEEL RECOIL SPRING GUIDE ROD is precision CNC machined for smooth trouble free operation and features our exclusive "R" clip retainer so you can assemble and disassemble the rod assembly as required without having to try to tap a roll pin in and out each time or grind the Ruger factory crimped rod.  The Recoil Guide Rod ships as an assembly with the R-clip installed.

The R-Clip serves to keep the recoil spring on the recoil rod when the charging handle assembly is removed from the rifle.  After the R-Clipped charging handle is assembled in the rifle, the R-clip is removed.  Subsequently, when the rifle is then later disassembled, the R-clip is once again inserted in the rod to keep the charging handle assembly intact when its removed from the rifle while maintaining the ability to easily disassemble the charging handle assemble for cleaning or to install an alternate force recoil spring. 

For custom rifle and pistol builds, the STAINLESS STEEL RECOIL SPRING GUIDE ROD is an inexpensive upgrade from standard Ruger® factory recoil guide rods.

Note:  During the course of assembly and disassembly, and especially after many uses, its possible that the the R-clip will become fatigued and could unintentinally pop off of the recoil rod and like most small pieces, it can be very difficult to find.  We recommend having a couple additional R-clips on hand just in case since the shipping on additional clips makes ordering just R-clips cost prohibitive.  Additional clips are inexpensive and are available as our part # 06466.
